Industry Forum on Smart Manufacturing
Event Details
Date: 24 May 2022
Time: 09:00 to 17:00 GMT
Venue: Radcliffe Conference Centre – University of Warwick
There is a need for more efficient engineering methods to enable automation solutions to be created and maintained more effectively, reducing the skill levels and the number of engineers needed to both initially produce and support such solutions through their life cycle. This forum will focus on looking at this issue from the perspectives of both the end users and the solution providers.
The forum invites industry leaders to give talks on the vision, technology and engineering solutions enabling efficient digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. The event is composed of two sessions. Session-I brings the needs of industry from the end-users perspective which opens doors for both practitioners and researchers to engage with industry. Session-II is focusing on the engineering tools and methods for efficient solution engineering where speakers will share expert led case studies with the audience. There will be a round table discussion at the end of each session where participants will have the opportunity to present their questions to the expert panel and discuss the future directions.
In parallel to the Industry Forum, a number of exhibitors will demonstrate the latest technologies and solutions for smart factories. Both in-person and virtual participants will be able to attend the exhibition throughout the day.The Industry Forum will be held at Radcliffe, the University of Warwick on 24th May 2022. Participants can join the Industry Forum in-person or virtually through ICPS 2022 online conferencing platform.
